Notice 04.29.2021: Just tested in-game following the 4/28 patch, and everything still seems to be in working order. I no longer own every pack, but there shouldn't be any issues with the newer ones unless they specifically edit the kiddie pools in some way.

Overview
It's never really made sense to me why toddler sims can't gain any skills from splashing around in the kiddie pools. Specifically, movement skill. I mean, there's "movement" involved! And really, who has the time to let their toddlers have some pure, unadulterated, non-skilling fun? Uhh, definitely not...me, anyway. So this simple mod fixes that by allowing toddlers to gain the movement skill while they do their splashing around! The mod also changes the catalog descriptions of the kiddie pools to reflect the new movement skill gain.

In the future...
I'd like to figure out how to allow toddlers to gain imagination in the pools instead of/in addition to movement (they do play with toys in the pool, after all).
I'd also like to add some different skill gaining speed flavors, but I am incredibly new to the modding scene so this was about all I could manage for now.

Mod Details
This mod is set so that toddlers gain movement skill at the default speed while playing in either of the kiddie pools. Requires Seasons because that was the pack the pools came with. Built and tested with version 1.47.51.1020 (November 2018 patch)!

Additionally, this is an XML tuning mod that overrides the behavior and catalog descriptions of the original Seasons kiddie pools. So if you download this, the kiddie pools in the catalog will have cc wrenches on them! The exact XML files this mod changes can be found here:

And the object catalog files that have been changed are here:

Conflicts
No known conflicts but there may be issues with mods that edit the same XML files or catalog descriptions listed above. I personally have MCCC and some other script mods in my game and have had no issues so far.
