There's no shame in being good company, so why not do for a living what you're best at?
This single-branch career in "Companioning" is available to male-framed, male Sims, aged Teen and older (the early stages of the career are scheduled to be compatible with high school hours, because education is important).
Vampires and Aliens are not eligible, lest their mind control powers be used inappropriately. Ghosts are not eligible because, well, they're dead. Sims with the Unflirty Trait are constitutionally ineligible.
It's not Rocket Science, but Companioning does require Skills, specifically Charisma & Fitness, and, to a lesser degree at higher levels, Wellness, Dancing, Comedy, Gourmet Cooking, Acting, and Mixology.
Being Alluring or a Great Kisser will improve your chances at advancement.
Career Levels
The career includes thematic promotion rewards including both objects and traits. (e.g., beds, massage tables; preferences for Romantic Music and Flirty Conversation; traits such as Shameless, Alluring, Great Kisser).
It's a career that provides a lot of free time, but you'll need it to become a broad and interesting person who can be deeply engaging on a personal level to a variety of Sims. There are aspects of the career that are long and hard, but the work itself is not necessarily one of them.
It's not a career for everyone; but there are some for whom it's perfect.
