I’d kind of guess that this lot is probably more likely to just be neighborhood decoration for most of you, and not a location you actually visit that often, but I’d really just wanted to see if I could make a convincing antenna of this sort, and I’m quite pleased with the results! The antenna itself is inaccessible beyond the first few stories at the base, so it’s really just for the tech aesthetic, but to ensure that your Sims have something to do when visiting this lot, I also built a small broadcasting hut at the base, with a few different possible interactions depending on the kinds of Sims you send.
While it’s just as tall as any of my tallest skyscrapers, this is actually a small lot in terms of it’s demands on your computer, and at 3x1 is the smallest standard lot size in the game, so hopefully if you do decide to visit this lot with your Sims it’ll be quick to load everything. Total value of the lot is only $66,199 and no NPCs should be generated (though this does mean a LOT of townies may show up, which kind of messes with the vibe of a usually-empty transmission hut
)
As far as things to do, you’ve got a few generic office desks, a kitchenette and BBQ area, and a small recording studio with a karaoke machine for Sims who feel like broadcasting their karaoke misadventures for anyone with a radio to listen in on! I’ve tested a clone and found no major issues or routing glitches, but please let me know if you find anything in your game and I’ll do my best to address it.
