WCIF this servo replacement?
Hello everyone! I recently had to redownload all my CC again for Sims 2 & 4 after getting windows 10 home and I went back to some of the stuff I remember downloading previously. Some sadly gone, some missing, etc. I was curious if anyone could tell me WCIF this particular mod / default replacement? I looked all over the site and hadn't had any luck.. even a file would help!

This is another one where Wayback Machine helped!

You can see the original page here:

The Box link still works too:

Don't forget Almighty Hat's Matte file if you don't want your servo to be shiny:

I'm just going to be honest. I've never gotten any help from the wayback machine. It's possible I don't really know how to use it. I haven't been there in a while but IIRC, it wants me to know the original URL or the proper name of the mod or something.

@smorbie1 I used the URL from the link in the first post; I just pumped that into Wayback Machine and looked at the results for the dates it had available.

You do need to know the URL that you are looking for- but just the top domain will get you results sometimes too. For example, if I know that I am searching for a .zip from Sims2Site.com, I can have WaybackMachine show me all files of that type that is has from that site. You don't necessarily need to know the exact web page to find the content.

You do need to know the URL. That's what I use it for; when a site I used has gone down and I still want to access it or when a site linked for a Download is down. Then I just put the URL into the Wayback Machine.

Exactly; in this case it seems that the required web page was not displaying correctly, so looking at an archived version showed it as it was meant to look.
