Under EA standard (without mods), the sims you are playing have one and only one homeworld. They may travel to the three WA worlds, Uni, and Oasis Landing (only) and then they may return home. Once they have Level 3 visas, they may purchase property (vacation homes) in the three WA worlds. All of the other worlds you may have in your game, whether they be from Expansion Packs, the EA TS3 Store, or custom designed, are homeworlds and the game may only have one homeworld. Your sims may move to one of these other worlds, but that is a permanent decision in the sense that the ongoing game's one and only homeworld changes, and by doing so the EA way the place they came from is destroyed and it, the sims, and any property back there are no longer part of the game going forward.

Using NRaas Traveler, your sims may vacation and move between any homeworlds you have installed. In order to buy homes in foreign homeworlds, we would also consider these properties "vacation homes," you must send your sims there on a vacation to purchase them; there is no visa requirement for these locations. This cannot be done long distance. It is possible to purchase resorts once in foreign worlds, sort of and Traveler's Treat as Vacation option needs to be suspended temporarily to do so, but they won't actually do anything if active gameplay is back in the homeworld as with or without mods only one world can be simulated by the game at a time.

Not sure I am really understanding the Uni/Twinbrook question. If active play is in Uni World, then everything back in Twinbrook is suspended in time and space until the term is over and your active sim returns home, at which point everyone and everything will be exactly how you left them. Is this what was meant?

first of all thank you.Alright then.
and yes you guessed correct about the uni/Twinbrook question.
my situation i have an YAdult sim in university.initially i created a brother sister duo, the sister is a teen, so once i left with this sim to uni, i was thinking about what about the sister sim?thanks to you for mentioning time and people are suspended until i return off. well that clears everything.

So,if u wont mind, am i right in saying that, i'll have to move to bridgeport for enjoying clubs? or move to isla parasido for discovering islands?
also i had a custom university installed.now how to apply and enroll it in the game? its already installed, but i dk how to place it in game.
plus can i own everything, in the hometown like stadium, shops?
my sim is 5star celeb.(yea cheated! xD) but um i am not getting any awe in the npcs. isn't it suppose to work that way? like people coming and ask for autographs? i have purchased nerds (3)and jocks(5) achievements though .

You can place (almost) anything you like from any of the EPs you have in play into any of the worlds by way of Edit Town. If there aren't any, let's say for example LateNite clubs that you like in the Edit Town community lot bin to place, you could load up Bridgeport and save some copies of existing ones down there, install custom ones made by other players, or design your own. An exception to that place anything you like anywhere rule is with IP content; water has to be deep enough to support diving lots, not all worlds are really set up well for boating because the waterways are too narrow, and islands being available are part of the world map creation process.

But there is no reason let's say Twinbrook cannot have Showtime venues or Bridgeport cannot have an ITF planetarium, Sunset Valley may have a bowling alley from Uni and a casino from Lucky Palms/store sets, etc. other than finding space on the maps to shoehorn these things in.

The notion of one world containing all EP and store content is possible theoretically, but custom made worlds that large and with that many lots tend to be unplayable. TS3 is a 32-bit only application and a world large enough with enough variety of lots to include "everything" would overwhelm the game engine and RAM usage to where, for many, the game just won't run properly if at all. There are some beautifully designed custom worlds available from talented developers that are unfortunate examples of such over-provision of lots. They are gorgeous to look at but not really playable for very long for most of us. What many of us find more satisfying is to use some additional content in some worlds as it feels "right" and "realistic" to us, but we have our sims go on vacations to the other worlds we have installed by way of NRaas Traveler so they may experience more of what the game has to offer. I live in a huge city in real life, one of the largest in the world, and nightlife, laundromats, junkyards, bakeries, stadiums, theaters, stores and restaurants we have plenty of. But this is hardly a good place to go deep sea diving or explore ancient tombs (my messy living room doesn't count) and I would have to venture pretty far out of town to enjoy horseback riding, for example.

Homeworld custom universities, if this is what you meant, are also a special beast. They require placement of the university lots and/or rabbithole rugs for each building into a homeworld, the NRaas Careers mod, and some special setup to function properly.

If you meant a custom university world as a replacement for the foreign Uni World that sims travel to for enrollment, that can be done too but it's a very different procedure to replace one foreign special purpose world with another one.
