How do I change the bit depth of an image to 24? [Solved!]
Hey guys,

I recently had this trouble but found the solution so I thought I would post it for others having an issue. I know this is kinda cheating in a way, BUT I like helping people .

1. Open the image in paint/photoshop/gimp/any photo editing software you own.
2. Click > Save As Option <256 x 256 .bmp>
3. Open new Saved .bmp image.
4. Click > Save As Option < .png > as different name.

^ And this saves it as the 24 bit that CAW keeps complaining about.

I don't take credit for this, although I did edit it a bit, I just used Google but like I said I wanted to help those that have been stuck and this actually worked for me.

Good luck in making your worlds!
