I want the first dress that appears here, https://modthesims.info/d/135081, the one with the necklace, but the link provided to the mesh is useless. I already tried to PM the creator and posted a comment. If your read my post, I tried my luck in TheSimsGraveyard.com with all 84 meshes from Simchic that I found there, but none made the dress appear

So please, if anyone has the mesh and is willing to share it, or knows where I can find it myself, that would be very appreciated!

No, it wasn't... The mesh was wide and had the shape of the second dress, not the first. That one is narrower.

I'm sorry! I supposed I was looking at the other dress's shape when looking for a mesh. I looked through the rest of AAS and couldn't find the correct shape mesh by simchic. Hopefully someone else knows where you can find it!

All the links don't seem to work, but if you can find something that looks close, maybe someone has that mesh and can post it. I have at least some clothes and meshes from simchic, but I have no idea which.

Most of the ones I can see with a similar shape has a "mesh not required" text, though. They kinda look like they're based on one of the ingame dresses.

EDIT:
Looks to be based on the afbodydresslongloose dress, but it is on a different mesh since the 3DIR doesn't match up with the original. Easiest way to look for the mesh is to open up any possible meshes in SimPE and looking at the Instance number. Both should match if it's the right mesh. None of the ones I had in my downloads matched.

I copied the textures onto the base game formal dress of a similar shape and that seems to work.

Thank you for your help, I tried those pages and downloaded everything I could, which was almost 100 different meshes. Sadly, none of them was adequate The dress is still un-wear-able.

Thank you too for the idea, at least now we know the textures actually exist. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do whatever you did. Would it be too much to ask if you send me your modified file, please?

Ah. I have a default that I've had for so long that I forgot that the dress wasn't originally like that. XD It removes the dangly bit from the Maxis dress, because the dangly bit looks weird. https://www.digitalperversion.net/g...31733#msg431733
