Default How to create smooth-edges water plane?
Is anyone know how to create smooth-edges waterplane? Yes, we all know that waterplane has a square shape, and we can't make it shape as we want, and if you still want to do that, you just have to play with the terrain sculpt in order to make the waterplane has a beautiful shape as you want (as far I know).

But, I found in Oasis Landing, that the waterplane has the smooth edges, I mean look at the dam, the dam has the convex shape, and the waterplane can fill the convex edge of the dam smoothly, without any transparent colour of cut-shaped waterplane.

As far I know, if you want to create waterplane like that, you should hide another edge of it with more sculpting terrain, because the waterplane has the shape like this if you create it (marked with black line), the waterplane should be reach the farthest convex corner of the dam

Is there any cheat of some tricks? Thank you, I need all of you answers

If the waterplane is intersected by terrain, the orphaned edges will vanish when the world is reloaded.
